Core Vocational Courses
Life Center offers a range of vocational courses intended to jump-start your career in your chosen field. Individual programs are offered in 8-week modules. Each core class is 96 contact hours (8 weeks x 3 hours/day x 4 days). The core class is supplemented with a certification course in Customer Service and Leadership (24 contact hours) and a Business Math and English class (24 contact hours). These supplemental classes are required elements for successful completion of any 8-week program.

Programs Available
In the June/July 2010 session Life Center is offering four programs. These include Office Administration, Computer Technology Specialist, and Welding. Additional programs available (based on demand) for future sessions include Medical Office Administration, CDL "A" licensing, and second level Welding.

Certifications
Office Administration, Computer Technology, Web Design and Medical Office courses provide IBTA certifications to successful students. Students in all programs take the Customer Service and Leadership class which provides an IBTA Customer Service certification to successful students. Most core vocational classes also provide 3 college credits through Vincennes University.
